The Systems team works with OEM units to identify gaps in functionality provided by central systems or other local systems. The team then works in conjunction with the unit owners to design, develop, and provide updates and enhancements for local applications for various OEM units.
  • The Systems team works with OEM units to analyze their business needs.
  • Where new or upgraded technology needs to be integrated into their operations, we design, develop, build and maintain websites and administrative and public-facing applications to enhance marketing efforts and assist in making back-office operations more efficient.
  • Many SDD-built systems are hosted on servers maintained by the Office of the Registrar systems group. Others are hosted within the university/UITS environment.
  • Most SDD-built systems are named after stars or constellations.
