Automated Data Entry processing is also known as iOpus online processing. iOpus is a tool that we use to automate on-line data entry tasks in SIS/PeopleSoft. You create the data file, and we’ll do your data entry for you! Consider us an extension of your staff.
Our team loads data to SIS in real time during online hours. In 2008 we processed over 2.2 million rows of data for 33 systems and offices on eight campuses. You can see more detail in this document: Processing Stats by Office.
Files of 5000 rows or less received by noon (Bloomington time) will be processed same day or next day; larger files may be processed in smaller chunks over a period of days. Files received after noon may be held for processing until the next day. If you know in advance that you will be sending large files, we’d love to know so we can staff accordingly.
Holiday schedules will be advertised in advance to the group. Processing will not occur on University holidays, or whenever production is down (such as SIS Release weekends).
